Musique Française

Under the direction of Philippe Ferro, the Orchestre d’Harmonie de la Région Centre will offer a program of French music, accompanied by soloist Bruno Maurice with the accordion.

Composed of 70 volunteer musicians, including professionals, orchestral musicians in training and high level amateurs, the Orchestre d’Harmonie de la Région Centre maintains the quality of their performances by highlighting the skills of wind orchestras of the Centre-Val de Loire Region.

Philippe Ferro, a brilliant conductor who is always in the search of composers, repertoires and talented young soloists, is our guest once again in Valencay. After Fabrice Millischer in 2015, he will be accompanied this year by Bruno Maurice with the accordion.

Today, a young generation of hip accordionists took up this instrument and transformed its image, creating a delightful elixir for this repertoire, which Valençay wishes to accompany in the future.

The orchestra is supported by the Centre-Val de Loire Region.
